    How It Works

    How Birth Certificate Attestation Works

    1

Step 1: Certificate and Document Review

CLS checks that the birth certificate is an eligible New Zealand civil document and reviews its intended use in Saudi Arabia, then reviews the names of the child and parents against the passports and identifies any differences requiring further evidence.

    2

    Step 2: DIA Authentication

The eligible certificate is submitted to DIA for the required New Zealand legalisation.

    3

Step 3: Saudi Embassy Legalisation (where required)

CLS submits the authenticated certificate through the appropriate Saudi diplomatic mission.

    4

    Step 4: Secure Return

We check the completed legalisation and arrange secure delivery to the family or another nominated recipient.
